Are polymer clay earrings heavy?

Not at all - polymer clay is incredibly lightweight, so even larger statement earrings are comfortable enough to wear all day long. Most of our regular styles weigh between 2 - 4 grams each, while larger statement earrings can weigh around 4 - 6 grams each. Our heaviest book stack earrings weigh in at around 7 grams each.

 

Are polymer clay earrings durable?

Polymer clay is flexible and strong once cured (baked in an oven), but like all handmade jewellery, should be handled with care. Keep your earrings stored flat or hung up, avoid bending and keep away from sharp objects or greasy materials (make up and face creams etc.)

 

How do I care for my polymer clay earrings?

To keep your earrings looking their best, avoid prolonged contact with water (remove before swimming and showering) perfume or make up. A wipe down with a soft damp cloth at the end of the day and left in a well ventilated spot to dry will help to keep your jewellery in tip top shape. Handle with care as these lightweight, delicate works of art can be damaged if not looked after properly.

 

Do you offer hypoallergenic findings?

Yes - all our earrings are made with either gold plated findings, or stainless steel findings. If you would like a custom pair made with gold or silver findings, please get in touch and I will try my best to source the right findings for your needs.

 

Can I request a custom order?

Absolutely! We welcome enquiries for custom designs or colour ways. Each bespoke piece is made with the same care and attention to detail as our collections, ensuring you receive a unique creation to treasure. Please note that custom work requires additional design time, so a small design fee of £10 - 25 will be added in the earring price.

 

Do you take custom orders for weddings or special occasions

Yes - I love to create bespoke pieces to mark life's most meaningful moments. Whether it's a set of earrings for bridesmaids, a handful of matching earrings for a hen party, or co-ordinating styles to celebrate a milestone birthday, each pair is crafted with care to reflect the occasion. Colours, shapes or floral themes can be tailored to your vision, ensuring the jewellery feels as unique as the celebration. 

For group or event commissions, a small design fee of £10 - £20 may be added to the cost of each piece, depending on the level of design elements and customisation. Any additional costs will always be agreed with you in advance and confirmed in a quotation before the work begins.
